The Educational Advising and Testing Office (EATO) at the American Cultural Center/Syria provides accurate, comprehensive, current, and unbiased information on educational opportunities in the United States.

Our office is part of the EducationUSA network of approximately 450 advising centers worldwide affiliated with the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.

EATO maintains an extensive collection of materials on U.S. and regional educational opportunities available for public use. Additionally, the EATO provides numerous educational and career information services, including free introductory public information sessions on U.S. education, announcements of special events, and many other advising services.

The office also provides information for admission tests such as TOEFL, ITP, SAT, GRE, TOEIC, GMAT, and USMLE.   For general inquiries about testing and studying in the United States, students can come in without appointment during opening hours from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.  For detailed information on How to Study in the U.S.A, students should attend Group Advising Sessions: “How to study in U.S.A.”, Mondays at 12 o’clock noon.

Please contact us or explore our web page for more details on programs of interest to you.

Visit the EATO announcements page to learn about upcoming events and opportunities

We look forward to your future visits to EATO at the American Cultural Center/Syria.
